What a pleasant surprise to see 539 and 543 Second Street. It was even more so when I realized that in 1910 my dad was living at 545 Second Street (he was two). Thanks for posting it.

Stephen, must have passed these houses quite a bit, my father's parents lived on Cliff St.
From what I have learned, my dad's grandmother, Bridget Gribbin, lived at 545 Second St. until she died in 1923. My dad's father died in 1911 and when his mom remarried he moved to 548 S. Warren with his mom and step dad By 1930 they were living at 108 Bridge Street. When my parents married in 1932 they moved in with my mom's family at 117 Culbertson. In 1943 my parents and their seven children moved to 871 Revere Ave which is where the other eight of us were born. My dad sold the house on Revere in 1976.

Bridget's maiden name was Innes. Mary was my grandmother. Annie married Hugh McGarigle and Bridget married David Byrnes. Jennie never married and Francis married Louise Sophers.
