It was once Allen's Lunch in the 1950s.
It was Bette's Restaurant in the 1960s.
I remember eating here in the 1970s and 1980s
I don't remember what it was called then but they
had a busy breakfast business and there were
usually some folks from the Trenton Police eating
here:)

Bettye's restaurant had breakfast just like mom used to make. When my parents were away and I was home alone (Yay!!)at 15 or 16, I would go there every morning for breakfast.
And importantly, they had good coffee:)
