I would think that that location is part of the Burg and not East Trenton. That is at intersection of Pearl St. where I lived for first 4 years of my life.
Burg ends at Hamilton to me
but folks may have different
Burgs. In my Burg day this was
an unsafe area at night..
that was hugely different from
most of the Burg which was safe
at all hours in my day.
You may be correct but you could not tell the folks on Pearl St. that they were not in Burg back in 40's and early 50's. We all wanted to be part of a good thing!
