Eddie K's was on the corner. Good cheap tomato pies. Good juke Box music. later became Grant's cleaners

Eddie K may have been Polish, but I don't care.

Our family used to go there to feast on pizzas when I was in my growing teens.

They weren't like Sammy's, but Eddie K served beer.

Did I mention that my dad occasionally poured from the pitcher into my glass? Keep it a secret, OK?

SJBill, I also loved his pies, maybe it was the "Polish" Pepperoni.

Barb P. See I read these comments and find you and Tomato Pies again.
That's OK, a good pie is the way of life. There was a bar near our house on Brunswick Ave, when I was small called Stanley's Tavern. In the summer on a Saturday night, my parents would take me and we sat in the ladies room, they a a jukebox, beer was 10 cents a glass, I had a soda and bags of chips, happy as could be than. Stanley served no tomato pies.
