This was Sams Barber Shop back in the day:)

which went from Liberty to Redfern & Olden.
My paper route was a much longer walk or bike ride
than most but my customers tipped well so the good
outweighed the bad:)
Sam was a nice guy:)

My brothers and I spent a lot of time at Sam's barbershop. Seems like every Saturday morning we were there for our 25 cent crewcuts. Was only barber I used until I went in the Air Force in 1970.

It's not clear to me where your newspaper route started---Liberty & ??? to Olden & Redfern.
I lived on the 800 block of Liberty. The paper route began after Liberty & Chambers down Liberty and was all Liberty except
the Redfern Avenue part of it:)
I remember Sammy, my grandmother got her hair cut there. She lived at 1420 Liberty Street, about four doors down from Sammy.
