Nice looking men's shop for these days. Guys in The Burg were always into looking sharp.

Ban-Lon shirts were big back in the day. You bought them up town. I forget where, but it may have been at "Eton Shop". Sometimes you got suits and jackets from "George's" on Broad St, near Van Schuyler's Furniture.

Leigh Frizzel's was OK, but better stuff was up town.

Remember the pants with the belts up high? Monogrammed sweaters?

I think we were collectively known as "Boppers from the Berg".

And don't forget pegged-pants with feather weight pointed shoes.

Sax and Bill: I remember High Boy Collars and Sharkskin Suits.

You could wear the clothes but to be a "true 'burg guy" you had to walk the walk...and that meant hunch your shoulders and shuffle and bop!
