The rest of the 800 block of Liberty Street, The
Burg. Ah the Old Burg. Our doors were unlocked if
someone was home during the day, never worried for
a second about this.
No matter where I go the Burg will always be Home:)

Mack, in my day, the doors were always opened and you never lost your car keys, 'cause they were in the ignition with the car door unlocked. The Burg was quite a place back then.
This area remained very safe until
the late 90s. In the 70s and 80s
I would think nothing of staying out and walking around or driving
at any hour of the night.
