Couple of doors down toward Dye St was Brody's Hardware. Talbot (Tal)Brody was a friend from JR#4 and THS. Tal was part of the 1961 THS State Champion basketball team - 24-0..he is now living in Israel.
For at least 20 years or so. Last time I knew he had some top-level position in the Israel government..something to do with recreation/travel. I emailed him a few times but do not have his current contact info...maybe Pass does?

Tal is a friend living in Tel Aviv. We met in Haifa about 10 years ago, where he is still a considered anational hero.
