mentioned here already so most of its new.

Russ Ayer's, Parfait House, Louies Tomato Pies, Old

I'm still at Russ Ayres Hot Dogs at least 2 x a week...Henderson's Club 50, great Jazz...It was Bobby V's, after Trionfetti's and before Amici's...Heidelberg, never pass the building that I don't think of my dad...Not the Burg, but how about Casa Lido, us state workers spent some time there.

Loved the Old Heidelberg, sorry to hear it's gone. Still can taste the sauerbratten, red cabbage and dumplings. Great old bar too.

Barb and Mack: Liked going to Del Rio's on Hamilton Ave., nice fireplace for a drink and steak sandwich.

Joe Z...always wanted to sit at the table made out a slab of tree wood and stools made out of tree trunks. It smelled so good in there with the fireplace and wood fire..the place was like an indoor picnic...Now I'm really getting nostalgic.

I remember Trionfetti's. Used to walk there after THS to get a ride home when my Dad was done playing peaknuckle. Dinner there at least twice a wk. Frankies son (Sonny Trionfetti)played sax and opened a club on Front St. in the 60's.
Too bad the Olde Heidelberg burned down. Great old bar and German food.
Remember going to Del Rio's on Saturdays after Sports Night band practice.
