If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. This is the most beautiful building on S Clinton. I remember it being an antiques gallery when I was a yon' teen. Anybody remember it being anything else?
Barb: I think you're right on that one. I thought it was a furniture store or carpet store.
I remember walking by and seeing lots of Tiffany-type lamps hanging from the ceiling and on desk tops, and beautiful furniture in the front window. My how things have changed. Always saw the "ritzy's" (probably from West End of Trenton) getting out of the high end cars and going in.
Barb: Those must have been the days, West Trenton come to the Burg. Your right now that I remember antiques was the business.
The Burg had everything in those days. Sometime you had to leave Caldwalder Park to buy the good stuff.
It was a warehouse for some moving van company in my time (50s - 60s).
