I think it was Jamie's Pub before Timothy's Timothy was a dummy...that is to say the one time owner's wife was a beauty contestant and ventriloquist, that and as part of her act, used a dummy named Timothy. The couple was also former owners of River City Cafe. (Emory Cafe) Can't make this stuff up!
Wow, Tom Pass...you are always right on the money. I forgot all about Timothy, and the wife was a looker.
A real beauty queen that thought she could sing. After she sold River City Cafe, she used to stop in and sit with us. Not sure if it was a treat or "treatment"!
Tom...sometimes the beauty queens have to "step down" to really have fun. Treat for her, treatment for you...AND she couldn't sing.
