Yes, my house is 607 the last one you see on the left in the pic. The yellow awning my father installed in 1952 on the house is still there. Now, when I last saw the house this past August all of the windows where open (without screens). Persons sitting on the window sills of the 2nd and 3rd floors.(3rd floor was unfinished when we lived there)...curtains blowing out..some kind of foreign music????? blarring out of the house...garbage all over the street...gang-banger types milling around the park across the street...so I said to my wife, "how the hell did we drive all the way to Guatamala..and where are the chickens and goats?".
Sax, welcome to the NEW Trenton. I was doing an appraisal on Orange St last year, called my husband while I was locked in my car (away from the gang-bangers in the park) waiting for the owner and said, "never in my wildest imagination did I ever think that this could happen". Very sad.
Sax: Good to see my second home in South Trenton again. Brought back a lot of memories. Guess we just have to remember the old and forget the present. Thanks Mack.
