This was Horseman Doll Factory, until they moved south to save on taxes, later the Coat Factory. Used to be a butcher shop on Elm and Randall, a small restaurant across the street from the factory and a penny candy store on Elm and Chestnut. Sax...Joe Z... need help with the names.
Barb, I remember the Coat Factory and the candy store, but the name is a blank. Hell I'm lucky now if I can remember a name of a person I met a week ago.
The small restaurant was owned by the Fergo family.

This is Joe's wife, Rosemary (Roe). My mother use to work at the Horseman Doll Factory. I remember when my dad would take us kids by there and she would be at the window about 3 or so stories up and wave to us. wow, that WAS a long time ago..lol..And yes, Barb..that's what they did..moved south..
Rosemary, my aunt Louise used to work there too. We used to go into the little alley behind the factory. Whe would throw down doll heads and body parts out the window, we would give them to her and she would put the dolls together for us. By the way... how many times do you have to introduce yourself to Joe in a day?
