Wow...Thanks Mack, your a sweeetheart. Thats the ol' homestead. I was the only person I knew who grew up in an apartment, until I met my husband, who grew up over the El Rancho Bar at Beatty and Lalor.

It was a great place to grow up. Everything was right there, and if I wanted to travel, the bus stop was right at the bottom of the stairs, then dropped me off across the street in front of Cotrells gas station. Just found a picture of myself at age 1 in front of my house. The Quaker Store (Cohen's Deli) and Cheap Johns are in the picture. Both were at Broad and Harding.
