Our House in The Burg

This is the house I grew up in. 6 Kids and a Dad and Mom.

Liberty Deli was across the street as was Dinger Brothers Iron Works.

Franklin School was 4 blocks away, Junior 4 was about 9 blocks away,

Trenton High was about a half mile away. Franklin Park was 3 blocks

away, Wetzel field was 5 blocks away. Peps Steak House was 2 blocks

away. J&M Deli was 2 blocks away. When we were kids we might have hung

at Home Seal on our same block or Century Hall 2 blocks away.

Our yard was a nice size for the Burg as our lot was 25x100.

We had a Cocker Spaniel who was the best but escaped our yard

many many times and we had to go find him. He was always only

a few blocks away when we found him. An adventurous Dog.

He lived 17 years. This was my home back in the day !!
