The grocery store at Liberty and Woodland was called Maxi's before
it was called J&Ms. Campi's had 2 stores 1 on Cummings Avenue
and 1 on Broad Street. LaRoma Pizzeria was Broad and Hudson someone
has just told me as I write this. Remember whenever you had to
take the train you had someone drop you off and pick you up from
the Trenton Train Station because parking was impossible.
Remember the Barlow Street Circle South Clinton merged.
And Yellow Cab Company was on the adjoining Circle.
Things and places people from the Burg knew back in the day:)
PS: I am Trying to find some good things on Saint Joachims and the
Feast of Lights as any Burg blog needs good items on them:)

Mack, I hope to see stories here about the Feast of Lights that was held on Bulter St. I think the custom was dying out by the time we moved to Trenton around 1960, but I have very vivid memories of it and would like to know more.
I know it is associated with Italian festas for the Madonna and it was sponsored by St Joachim's.
