Buses from the Burg would go to Independence Mall in Hamilton. Quaker Bridge Mall
and Mercer Mall in Lawrence. Mercer County Community College, Trenton State College,
Downtown Trenton, and North Trenton.
I remember Quaker Bridge Mall opening years. Space Port, The Movie Theatre,
Senior Taco, Music Scene, Listening Booth, Wall to Wall Sound. I think Macys was
called Bambergers.
When I worked at Wendys in Ewing I used to take the Bus to North Trenton and
then walk from Olden & Brunswick Avenue. Wendys was my job that summer of
198o when High School ended and College beckoned.
Buses were not expensive and ran reasonably close to scheduled times.
Glad they were there back in the day.

Hello
Yes, Macy's was the old Bambergers...Loved that store!
Hi Rosemary:)
I also remember
Lord and Taylor was Hahnes and
There were waterfountains :))
The Broad St, White Horse and Yardville buses took us to White Horse Bowling Alley on a Saturday morning. Or you could go in the other direction and head into town. But when I got my drivers license, I gave up my feet for wheels. So much easier to cruz town.
