La Gondola Restaurant, The Burg

Anderson Street. This was a Burg Legend also as Freddie's
Bar & Grill when it was run by the Salamando family:)
This was the best in the Burg without a doubt! I'm not just sayin that because my dad owned it and I grew up there :) Best authentic Italian food and atmosphere. I miss this place :(
ONE OF THE BEST IN THE BURG. ROE AND I WALKED THROUGH THOSE DOORS MANY TIMES DATING. FOND MEMORIES ALWAYS.

My brother and I worked here in the early 80's I can still remember the ravioli and bolognese sauce and getting paid in Roma savings envolopes (cash)
