A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Mott Street Under A Spring Sky, The Burg
Mott Street Under A Spring Sky, The Burg You can see part of the Roebling Factory in the distance. Here is another picture I took recently on a Burg picture trek. Click on the picture and fill your screen with Mott Street in our beloved Burg:)
Hi Mack: You must have taken this shot from Chestnut Ave. I was born at 104 and don't recall that block as having any trees. They seem out of place in Chambersburg, although they help for the shade and looks. I always liked trees in the neighborhood, which is one of the reasons why I finally ended up in your neck of the woods. My house on Edinburg Road was loaded with them. Best Regards.
